Raya-Rekho (also spelt Raya-Rekha) was a standardised system of land measurement. It was in place during the Vijayanagara Empire in the medieval period. Its purpose was to assess the land revenue as tax and to establish fixed measurements and payment rates to ensure consistent revenue collection for the state. This made it a crucial part of the agricultural administration.
